Schwartz, noticing that storage is running low in lieu of Grune’s Pukasloth and their hoard, vows to get rid of the excess Pink Daisy Cabbies. Instead of burning them as she had planned, Ellie convinced her to set up a hat stall when Grune is not present to get rid of hats and instead gain something more useful (i.e. money).
Anyone is welcome to run the stall, as long as they keep their mouths shut and don’t tell Grune or the surly pink Pukasloth that follows her around. Gaet thought it was Grune’s idea, because the shop was named after her, and dedicates most of his time spent not wooing ladies to being a vendor. Bartering is allowed by all vendors except Gaet, as it has been discontinued under his management since the time he had traded 50 hats for “a cool looking bug.”
Clan Schwartz makes most of its money through other, shadier means, so the hat stall’s failure or success means little. However, it seems to have garnered some popularity, as various dragons from different flights often stop in and pick up a souvenir after visiting Clan Schwartz.
